The PPRTA, founded in 2013, strives to exchange information with, and be a source of, information for, part-time resident taxpayers on significant Provincetown issues. We work to be a year-round voice in local, regional, and state governments for part-time resident taxpayers in Provincetown.

We are 100% donation-driven, and 100% volunteer-run.

Part time residents are my core customers and are significantly responsible for making this year the success it has been for Arcadia.  And once again, for the record, thank you very much for your part in making 2020 such a successful year at Arcadia. This year could have gone very differently for me and it's committed neighbors like you and your membership that truly made a massive difference. It is very much appreciated.

Many years ago, our Cabaret room held the first meeting of what would become the PPRTA. Bill and I were the first in the business community to recommend the entire ‘movement’.

Kevin Miller and I own Shor Home Furnishings at 240 Commercial Street. We have been in business here since 2008 and wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the part-time residents. Not only do they frequent our shop and make purchases, but they are also a mainstay of our interior design business. Thank you for giving voice to our neighbors, friends, and clients who help enable us to live and thrive in our beautiful little town.
